Howdy, partners! Welcome to Wonder Junction! There’s no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long. But how can yer kids do that if they don’t know who Jesus is or what he’s done for them?
Here at Wonder Junction, we marvel at Jesus and live for his glory.
We sure hope y’all are rarin’ to saddle up and join us for a rootin’-tootin’ good time at Wonder Junction! We’re fixin’ to mosey through the marvels of Jesus—from the amazin’ wonder of His birth all the way to the jaw-droppin’ wonder of His resurrection! Here’s a few trail markers you’ll wanna keep in mind for the week ahead:
- Check-in corral: Each mornin’, you’ll wrangle your young’uns over to the Welcome Center—that’s the spot right by them side doors headin’ into the children’s wing. We’ve got two mighty kind cowgirls runnin’ the show there, ready to guide your buckaroos into the Wild West! Once you’ve checked in, one of our mighty kind wranglers will meet you at them double doors and escort your cowboy or cowgirl to their classroom. On Monday, you will also receive an ID card that you will use during check-out that week (See below for more information).
- Check-out: When the clock strikes high noon, y'all can come right on back through the same doors and check your young'un out at the Welcome Center. Don't forget to bring yer young'un's ID card when it's time to check out! Our Welcome Team will holler for 'em over the walkie-talkie, and they'll be escorted right to ya at the double doors. Be sure to give that check-out map a good look so ya know the ropes!
- T-shirt Payment: If you ain't squared up for your child's t-shirt yet, no worries—just be sure to hand over $7 to the fine folks at the Welcome Center on Monday. Much obliged!
- VBS hours: We’ll be ridin’ the trail from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Be sure to arrive on time, ‘cause the little wranglers will be gallopin’ straight into the openin’ roundup right after drop-off!
- Sun protection: That June sun don’t mess around, folks! Be sure to lather up your cowpoke with sunscreen every day before sendin’ ‘em off—they’ll be headin’ outside for some good ol’ playground fun.
- Waterin’ needs: With all that runnin’ and ridin’, we kindly ask that your child brings a labeled water canteen (or bottle) each day to stay hydrated!
- Wild West Wednesday: Get ready to holler and hoot—it’s Wild West Wednesday! Dress up your lil’ cowboy or cowgirl in their best western gear for a chance to win a prize. Go big, but make sure they’re still ready for outdoor play!
- T-shirt roundup: Your child will trot home Monday with their official Wonder Junction tee. We’d love for everyone to sport their shirts on Friday for our grand finale!
- Final Rodeo—Sunday, June 8: Don’t ride off into the sunset just yet! Come on back from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for our Final Rodeo! Don't forget to wear your Wonder Junction tee! Tour the rooms, tip your hat to the teachers, and join us in the worship corral for one last hoedown! We’ll tally up all the donations for the Children’s Hunger Fund, announce which posse gave the most, and raise the roof with songs, dancin’, and a review of the Wonders of Jesus. Mark your calendars—you won’t wanna miss this roundup!
